M O Kuriakose holds a Master's Degree in English, a Masters Degree in Education , Post Graduate Diploma in Education with a track record of more than three decades of teaching and administrative experience in India, Africa and the Middle East. He has held the post of Principal for nearly two decades in addition to his assignment with Ministry of Education, Nigeria as Senior Education Officer and Inspector of English. He was a member of the West African Examination Council's English Language syllabus review committee. He had organized several Inter-School competitions including CBSE National and Cluster football tournaments. He was a member of CBSE School inspection team in GCC Countries. He has received many prestigious awards in his career including the National Metallurgists Day Award in 1996 from Bokaro Steel Plant for meritorious service. The Goverment of India in recognition to his contributions to education conferred on him the National Award to Teachers ( Rashtrapathi Puraskar ) in 2001
