Talents Day Celebration Trivandrum International Schools’ Talents Day 2009 was flagged off on Friday July 27. It was no doubt, a scintillating day for the many young talents to present their caliber. The day’s program was on with the general assembly. It was followed by Malayalam and English recitation and elocution competition. These competitions went on for about an hour. Then came the much awaited programes like mono act, dance, western and eastern music. Mono act competition was specially noted for its contemporary relevance because many of its participants chose the subjects of current issues like chicken guinea, pathetic road conditions etc. Amalu Vinod of class 7A presented a stupendous performance in eastern dance. ‘Just a Minute’ competition witnessed more number of participants and was one of the interesting and funny programs on the Talents Day. Last but not the least, with “Meet the Press” competition., this year’s talents day came to an end . In the Meet the Press competition; for a few minutes, the participants became the eminent personalities of the world like Michael Jackson, Barrack Obama, A P J Abdul Kalam ,Tintin, M S Dhoni etc. Some participants completely adapted themselves to the new role assigned to them and answered promptly for the juries’ questions. Finally, the most awaited time had reached. It was none other the declaration of the winner house. Jalam scored maximum points. The winner house went cloud nine.
